He caught a hold of a fastball for a Grand Slam homerun in the 4th inning, stroked a single in the 6th inning and blasted a two-run home run (his 34th of the season) in the 6th inning. Santa Fe lit up the scoreboard in the 4th inning with 4 runs and the 6th inning when they had 8 runs on 8 hits. The Santa Fe offense man-handled the Chainsaw pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings. Kelvim Escobar(5-5) went 7 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Miguel Batista(4-7) was tagged with the loss. He struggled with his control issuing 6 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings. 'I was really seeing the ball today,' Beltran said 'I wish it was always this easy.'
